How do folding doors actually work?

Each panel is connected to the next by hinges, and all panels run on a top track. When you push the first panel, it folds against the next, and together they slide along the track. At the end, all panels stack neatly to one side like a closed accordion, leaving your entire opening free.

Are folding doors secure against break-ins?

Yes. Our folding doors use toughened safety glass (which doesn't shatter easily) and come with mortice locks built into the frame. The multi-point locking system engages at top, middle, and bottom for comprehensive security. For ground floor installations, we recommend safety laminated glass for additional protection.

Will rain get in during monsoon?

Our folding doors use weatherproof gasket sealing between all panels and around the frame. When closed, they create a tight seal against rain, wind, and dust. The bottom track has drainage channels to redirect any water that might enter. They perform excellently in Indian monsoon conditions.

What's the difference between 50mm and 52mm profiles?

Both are made from the same high-grade 6063-T6 aluminium. The 52mm profile has slightly thicker walls, giving it marginally more strength for very large panels or high-wind areas. For most residential applications, the 50mm profile is perfectly adequate and slightly more economical.

Can I get custom colors to match my interiors?

Yes. For bi-fold doors, we offer RAL color powder coating - choose any RAL shade to match your home. Popular choices include Matt Black, Grey, White, and Wood-finish textures. For fold & slide gates, we have four premium imported finishes: Matt Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Copper Gold.

How long does installation take?

For standard 4-panel balcony installations: 1 day. Larger installations with 6+ panels may take 1.5-2 days. Our team comes with pre-fabricated components cut to your exact measurements, so on-site work is primarily assembly and alignment. You can use the doors the same day installation completes.
