For Railways, Airports, Metro Stations, Malls, and Government projects, fire safety compliance is mandatory. FR Grade B ACP features a mineral-filled fire retardant core that doesn't propagate fire and is self-extinguishing.

Special Installation: Unlike regular ACP that mounts directly on walls, FR Grade B requires bracket mounting for walls and ceilings:

GI Brackets: 75×75×6mm with Anchor Bolts 10×100mm

Both wooden and plain color ACP panels use PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) coating which provides superior UV resistance and longer color retention. The difference is in the finish – wooden colors have realistic wood grain texture while plain colors are solid. Both have aluminium coil on both sides with color finish on one side and plain on the reverse.

What is FR Grade B ACP and when is it required?

FR Grade B ACP has a fire-retardant mineral core instead of standard PE core. It's mandatory for Railways, Airports, Metro Stations, Government buildings, and large public projects. The installation requires special brackets – GI brackets (75×75×6mm) with anchor bolts or Aluminium angles (50×50×50mm) – as panels cannot be directly mounted on walls/ceilings in these projects.

Which thickness should I choose?

We install aluminium profile framework in a 4-feet × 4-feet grid pattern on the wall. This creates a strong, uniform backing that ensures the ACP panels remain flat and secure. Unlike riveted systems, we use wooden screws and silicon sealant for a cleaner finish and watertight joints.

What sheet size is used for calculation?

We use 4×12 feet (48 sq.ft) standard sheets for calculation. Available sizes include 4×8 ft (32 sq.ft), 4×10 ft (40 sq.ft), and 4×12 ft (48 sq.ft). Your area + 5% wastage is divided by 48 sq.ft, and the result is rounded UP to determine sheets required.
